I’ve painted and drawn with (and on) everything from air brushed acrylics on canvas to oil sticks on paper and poster chalk on blackboard.

I painted these acrylics on coated paper stock, because I liked the unpredictable way the water-based paint interacted with the coated paper. The resulting expressionistic collages and paintings explored the dynamics of gesture, color and form. Through varying degrees of abstraction, they emerged as landscapes or figures in landscapes.
